God may call us beyond what feels comfortable or possible. Through Moses at the burning bush, we learn that His work is not merely a human enterprise but a divine operation. Our weakness, uncertainty and fear do not have the final word when God is present and we are willing.

🔥 Day 1 — Join What God Is Doing
Reflection
Moses was tending sheep when God drew his attention through the burning bush. God had seen His people’s suffering, heard their cry and come down to rescue them. Moses was being invited into a work that had begun in God’s heart.
Serving God is not about inventing a mission and asking Him to bless it. It is joining His divine operation. He still sees, cares and acts, and He chooses to involve ordinary people like us.

🤝 Day 2 — His Presence Is Enough
Reflection
When God called Moses, his first response was, “Who am I?” He saw the size of the task and the limits of his own ability. God did not answer by telling Moses that he was secretly strong enough. He promised, “I will be with you.”
We often measure God’s call against our resources and feel inadequate. Humility is healthy when it moves our confidence from ourselves to God. Our weakness need not hold us back when His presence goes with us.

Father, I confess that I often focus on my limitations. Move my confidence from my ability to Your presence, and help me obey. Amen.

Name one weakness that makes you hesitate. Beside it, write: “God will be with me,” and take the next faithful step.
🪄 Day 3 — Surrender What Is in Your Hand
Reflection
God asked Moses, “What is that in your hand?” It was an ordinary shepherd’s staff—part of his everyday work and identity. When Moses laid it down before God, that ordinary object became an instrument through which God displayed His power.
Jesus does not ask us to pretend we possess gifts we do not have. He asks for the life, opportunities and abilities already in our hands. Surrender connects the natural parts of our lives with the purposes of our supernatural God.

What has God already placed in your hand? Is there a gift, resource or opportunity you need to surrender to Him?

Jesus, everything I am and have belongs to You. Take what seems ordinary and use it for Your glory and the good of others. Amen.

Choose one ability, possession or opportunity and deliberately offer it to God. Use it today to serve or encourage someone.
🚶 Day 4 — Trust Without Knowing Everything
Reflection
Moses wanted to know how people would respond. God gave him what he needed, but He did not explain every plague, obstacle or outcome in advance. Moses had to move forward without possessing the whole plan.
We often want certainty before obedience. Yet faith grows in the not knowing, as we depend upon God rather than our ability to control events. He may not answer every question today, but He remains trustworthy.

What uncertainty is making you reluctant to move? Can you trust God’s character even without knowing the outcome?

Lord, I release my need to know everything. Teach me to trust You with my whole heart and obey You one step at a time. Amen.

Write down one unanswered question. Pray over it, then identify and complete the next step that is already clear.
🔥 Day 5 — From Excuses to Willingness
Reflection
Moses’ concerns eventually reached the heart of the matter: “Please send someone else.” Reasons become excuses when unwillingness closes our hearts. God promised to help Moses speak and teach him what to say; the call depended on God’s help, not polished human performance.
We may feel tired, discouraged or afraid of getting it wrong. The Holy Spirit lives within us and supplies what we need. God is not looking for flawless people, but willing hearts that will answer His call.

Where have genuine concerns become excuses? What would a willing yes to God look like today?

Say aloud, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.” Then act on one thing God has already been asking you to do.
❤️ FINAL THOUGHTS
This week we have seen that God’s call is a divine operation. His presence is greater than our weakness, surrendered ordinary things can serve His purpose, and faith can move before every question is answered.
Respond to Jesus with willingness. Let the Holy Spirit continue His work in you and give you courage for the next faithful step.
